Partnerships in the Netherlands
The TxMiller Foundation is dedicated to promoting awareness of stem cell donation. Registering as a stem cell donor could provide critically ill patients with a vital last hope of survival.
To make the largest possible impact, TxMiller partners with organizations that share our mission.
KNRB
Through our collaboration with the Royal Dutch Rowing Federation (KNRB), we work towards these key goals:
- Creating broad awareness for the importance of stem cell donation and encouraging new donors.
- Strengthening education on solid organ and stem cell transplantation.
- Increasing national visibility for the Dutch stem cell donor center (Matchis) to ultimately grow the donor pool.
Matchis
Our collaboration with Matchis focuses on reaching young, fit potential donors, especially within student sports associations in the Utrecht region.
During competitions events and at their clubs, we share information about stem cell donation and provide opportunities for athletes to register as donors on the spot.
This partnership illustrates how sports, health, and social responsibility reinforce one another.
United, we work toward one powerful goal: ensuring that every patient has the best possible chance of finding a life-saving donor.
Sport Initiatives
The TxMiller Foundation promotes the recruitment of healthy young donors. We actively support diverse student sports associations.
In return, they encourage their members to consider registering as stem cell donors. We also support national rowing societies to raise awareness of stem cell donation during their sports events.
These activities are financially supported by the private holding company of Wietse Mulder, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The TxMiller Foundation values this initiative, and the holding company has kindly allowed the use of TxMiller branding for this CSR effort.

The foundation is proud to sponsor Diede van Oorschot, a talented short track ice skater, whose dedication, discipline, and passion reflect the values we stand for.
A key reason for this partnership is that, as a young and healthy athlete, she is an ideal role model for raising awareness about the importance of stem cell donation. Her positive public presence helps inspire others—especially young people—to learn about stem cell donation and consider registering as potential donors in a responsible and informed way.
