Rijksmuseum Boerhaave is, verblijd met een bijzondere schenking. De TxMiller Foundation committeert zich aan een bedrag van maar liefst 1 miljoen euro voor de realisatie van de museumuitbreiding. Het Paviljoen, zoals de uitbreiding wordt genoemd, wordt een inspirerende ontmoetingsplek waar het publiek kennis maakt met de life sciences en innovatieve geneeskunde.
