One of the pillars that constitutes the mission of the TxMiller Foundation is Science and Education. For this core area of initiatives, the Foundation offers (financial) support, either upon request or on its initiative.

The Foundation offers support, and/or takes action to:
- Increasing knowledge about transplantation by supporting research projects of individual scientists, groups, and/or institutions;
- Expanding knowledge about stem cell transplantation through education by:
- Awarding (travel) grants to be able to participate in a scientific meeting;
- Supporting the organization of specialized congresses and educational events focused on the field of transplantation, in particular the European Federation of Immunogenetics (EFI), American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI), The International HLA & Immunogenetics Workshop (IHIWS) and similar associations/federations in other geographical areas.

The American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) is a nonprofit professional organization representing experts in immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and transplantation.
Our collaboration with ASHI established in April 2024 with the sponsoring of the ASHI Scholar Awards. Sponsoring these student awards helps to expand knowledge about stem cell transplantation through education.
EFI (European Federation for Immunogenetics) is a European society of professionals in immunogenetics, histocompatibility testing, and transplantation.
Our collaboration with EFI established in December 2024 with the sponsoring of the EFI Personal Bursaries to attend the annual EFI Conference. Sponsoring these student awards helps to expand knowledge about stem cell transplantation through education.
The mission and vision of the Society for Immune Polymorphism is an international membership organization of scientists dedicated to understanding the genetic and functional variation of the vertebrate immune system, and the immune system’s role in evolutionary biology, disease and health.
Together with its members, the Society’s vision is increased collaboration, engagement and sharing of domain knowledge between scientists focused on any aspects of immune-related genomics.
The TxMiller Foundation sponsors the annual SIP Sassenheim Symposium in the Netherlands to expand knowledge about stem cell transplantation through education.
